    First biodegradable tent ever

Fling Tent – the eco tent

The Fling Tent is the most eco friendly tent ever made. It’s designed for use during mass events like music festivals.

We invested loads of dedication in order to make this tent. It will launch for the festival season in 2017.

You could be the first in the world with a biodegradable camping tent. You could be the one making this dream true.

Biodegradable tents are the best option for cheap festival tents. Just follow us on our FB page or Twitter page.

    • Light and compact

The tent is extremely light and compact in your luggage. Easy to transport in the car, public transport and from the parking to the camp site.

    • Biodegradable

The fabric used on the fling tent is the most eco-friendly ever used for a tent.
We invested in biodegradable fabrics that will make your tent last for the season. But it won’t cause huge problems onto the waste system.

    • Low Budget

The Fling Tent is extremely affordable. There is no reason to buy another tent.

  • A great choice for branded eco tents for your festival or company

    • Made on demand

We don’t (yet) stock our tents. One more trick to be that cheap.
It basically means that you have to buy 2.000 tents at once.

But no worry – if you want only one, you can support us by informing your preferred festivals about our products.

    • Branded

Every tent is 4 color printed with any design you choose. You can add the logo and name of a sponsor – draw cartoons, great patterns – or just leave a piece of white fabric to have it coloured by the user.

  • A cool eco alternative for other cheap tents.

  • Our Solutions

  • Popular Questions

Does my tent biodegrade while camping?

    No, don’t worry.

The tent fabric will biodegrade under the influence of micro organisms.
Those are very active on a compost tray – but a lot less on the camp site.

It would however not be very wise to leave your tent out for extended periods. It’s meant to disappear at some stage!

    Is it waterproof?

    Yes, it is.

How come that it’s that cheap?

The fabrics we use are more expensive than most other budget tent. But we have brought back the tent to maximum simplicity leaving just the functionality you need.
You’re not paying for zippers, little storage bags, meters of guy lines and more whistles and bells.

How can I get a Fling Tent?

We are very soon starting a Kickstarter. You can be the very first in the world with a light biodegradable tent.

  • Eco Friendly

    Is the fabric really compostable?

Yes, the fabric is. However – the poles and pegs are not yet compostable. We are researching this matter and hope to offer the most eco friendly solution soon.

What is the tent made of?

The fabric from the tent is made of fabrics from the PEVA group (Poly Ethylene Vinyl Acetate). No know harmful additives are used in this fabric.
We are using a PLA mixture that is certified compostable.

    How does it feel like?

It feels like plastic. The fabric can be compared with some kinds of shower curtains.

How about the poles and pegs?

The poles are made from recycled PVC – the pegs are aluminum. We can provide biodegradable pegs too. But those are quite expensive.
In fact – we expect the poles to live longer than the rest of the tent. They are quite rigid. One the tent is “composted” you might use your poles for a second tent. Or a third…

  • Additional Benefits

    Easy to carry

The tent weights less than 2kg and is packed really small. That makes it easier to travel to the festival campsite.

    Easy to pitch

By just sliding the two poles in and pounding 4 pegs into the ground the tent is ready for you for the first night.

    Adding to mother earth

This is an easy way for responsible behavior. As this is the most eco-friendly tent ever made – comparing to 99,9% of other harmful tents – you’re part of a game changing program.

Pas in de jaren 70 van de vorige eeuw komen de compacte lichtgewicht kampeertenten voor.   […]
